VICTOR – On Thursday, June 11, 2020, the Victor Central School District Board of Education appointed veteran Physical Education Teacher and Coach,
Frank Clark, as the new Head Coach for the Varsity Girls Basketball team. Clark, a 31 year VCS teaching veteran, brings three decades of coaching experience to his new post, including five years as the Varsity Boys Basketball Coach and twenty-one years as a Modified Coach. This past season, he was also the Varsity Girls Basketball Assistant Coach. In addition to basketball, Clark has also coached Varsity Boys Volleyball, Varsity Boys Baseball and Girls Softball.
Clark’s mantra throughout his impressive coaching tenure has been to inspire and encourage student athletes to pursue excellence in academics, athletics and in life while relishing the journey. Among those many journeys, Clark has lead numerous teams to Section V Championships and has been named a Section V Coach of the Year five times.
"I feel honored to be appointed to the position of Girls Varsity Basketball Coach, following in the footsteps of a great coach in Coach Blake Smith. My hope is to continue the success that both Coach Smith and Coach Scott Zahn brought to the program, both on and off the court. I am also honored and excited to continue to work with a group of young ladies who possess strong work ethics, positive attitudes and who epitomize the meaning of being student athletes" Clark said.
