Dear Potential Boys’ Modified Soccer player-

I hope this letter finds you enjoying your time and getting ready to try out for the Modified Boys’ Soccer season. This year there will be two modified soccer teams.  The teams will be 7th, 8^th, and 9th grade soccer players.  The teams will be decided through skills testing, team play and sportsmanship over a span of 3-4 days. 

The first day of try-outs is Wednesday, September 6^th from 3:00 - 5:00 pm on Field #9,10,11.  Certification will take place online prior to tryouts starting.  Please check this link for information Certification/Registration for Athletics

You will NOT be allowed to participate until you have been re-certified!!

After each school day, players are expected to report to the sports study hall in the JH cafeteria. Then at 2:55, players will report to the JH locker rooms in order to change into soccer attire. You will need to be dressed appropriately with sneakers and/ or cleats, shin guards, socks, and a full water bottle. If you are a keeper, please bring your own mouth guard and gloves. We will be doing a timed distance run on the first day, so it would be in your best interest to start training now if you have not started working on your endurance. Speed and ball handling are important assessment skills to work on as well.
