Unfortunately, due to the on-going server issues at Victor Central, and the fact that secondary students 'will not' be in virtual or in-person instruction tomorrow, Dr. Terranova has decided to cancel all co-curricular, extra-curricular and interscholastic-athletic events.
Teachers and Staff will be meeting tomorrow in preparation for the following days, and the plan is to resume on Tuesday; February 2nd; however, please be prepared to practice 7 days-a-week to meet the minimum requirements for competition.
Thank you!

Message From Dr. Terranova Regarding Athletics:
Hello Everyone. We are canceling athletics and extracurricular activities tomorrow. I am hopeful they will be able to resume on Tuesday. In addition, there will be no Zoom classes for secondary students tomorrow.  Principals will be in touch with families tomorrow afternoon regarding next steps.

While we wait for final approvals and guidance, there is something that all our student-athletes need to do right now...
How are your grades, are you prepared for the next academic semester, are your reaching out to your teachers, counselors or coaches for help?!?!

After months of advocacy and leadership with/from Student-Athletes, Coaches, Parents, Administration, Media and Local/State Government Officials... we were informed at 3:00pm by Governor Coumo that NYSDOH 'High Risk' labeled Interscholastic-Athletics has a pathway to begin participation and competition beginning on February 1st.  There are still many variables that need to be sorted out; however, we're confident that we will be able to utilize the plans and protocols that we've spent 10 months preparing and revising to provide our Student-Athletes with a safe and meaningful experience.  We will continue to meet and exceed the NYSDOH guidelines... Victor Central Schools’ focus has been steadfast on the student-athletes’ Social, Emotional and Mental wellbeing while providing the necessary tools for the coaching staff to meet that prioritization.

Here's what we know: Victor Central Schools will be coordinating with the Ontario County Department of Public Health and our athletic league over the next 48 hours to gather specific information and communicate it to you as soon as it becomes available.  Please continue to use this page for updates.

It's a Great Day to be a BLUE DEVIL... Thank you!
